Franklin APPLE (Alternative Parent Participation Learning Experience) is a community-based public elementary school program that integrates the best of our public schools with high family involvement and teacher support. Any family willing to commit 90 hours of volunteer time is eligible to participate. Parents and other care givers volunteer in the classroom and serve as activity coaches and teachers in their specialty fields. The program funds these efforts, field trips, and enhanced curriculum. APPLE employs the “it takes a village” proverb on a daily basis with results that benefit Spokane students for a lifetime.
Proceeds from the 2016 Franklin APPLE Auction will fund the program for the 2016-17 academic year, shaping the next generation of learners and citizens!
